Angel arrives on vinyl as a bright, nostalgic and dreamy celebration of ben’s upcoming second studio album.
A major departure from the darker world of Sad Summer, Angel embraces glossy Y2K pop, soft celestial imagery and a more hopeful outlook. The vinyl edition brings that world to life with an ethereal physical design inspired by clouds, halos, chrome details and the nostalgic aesthetics of the early 2000s.
Pressed on translucent pale-gold vinyl, the record features subtle shimmering details that catch the light as it spins. The centre label carries the Angel identity with delicate celestial artwork, while the outer packaging uses soft, heavenly tones to create the feeling of looking into a dream.
Inside, the album’s emotional journey moves from complicated relationships and fading friendships to independence, imagined love and finding your own sense of safety. Even at its most vulnerable, Angel remains brighter and more uplifting than Sad Summer.
